Hero? Hopefully before the end of this year, could release the official rom. My poor G2, however, has officially announced wouldn't prepare any rom for 2.2 for it.

Hi Greenhouse01. I'm assuming you mean the2.1 update. My hero is unlocked, I was running 1.5 until the weekend. Last week I visited HTC website and checked for updates fota, it said something like click on version number to register or something so I did, although nothing happened for about 5 days, then on Saturday I booted my mob up and got a message from HTC that an update was ready, do I want to install now, I said yes, did everything it asked and ended up with new update on phone. Thing that surprised me most is I didn't lose my apps from the market, I thought all they would have gone. Hope this helps, good luck. Ziggy.
