Slightly long read:
Well as some of you know from chat and such that I've been taking care of a friend of mine who had a nervous breakdown. He required 24/7 surveillance basically, so this kind of put me at a separate residence from my wife for a while. At first I was only supposed to be here like 2 or 3 weeks until they found a suitable live-in worker to be with him... but then he decided to move back to his parents down in the Bay Area, and they asked if I wouldn't mind staying until then.
Well the "then" has become now. Later today the modem here will be returned, so I am making my (possibly final) post from this house. Sure, I still have the library to get online at for an hour (ugh). And trust me, I will post again... just more than likely not in the next few days. This also means that Ick, Jane, DG, Noob, Chad, CL, HSA, Slinger, Brion, Max, Zolly, Liz, and especially Jason... I'll miss getting to chat with you fuckers for quite the next few months (at least until August... after me, my wife, Ick, (possibly) Meep, and (possibly) HSA make our way up to Oregon

Am I apprehensive about leaving? A little I guess. At first I wasn't worried about leaving at all, because I had a home to go back to. But the nice size trailer that we had bloomed out of nowhere with black mold so bad, we decided to get rid of it and go back to using the smaller one we had... which also means that there's only room enough for my wife and my boy. Not looking forward to being homeless really... but in a situation like this what the fuck can you do? We have no homeless program around here, so it's on the streets baby! We're supposed to be getting a newer trailer soon for sure, but there's no definite date on when that's gonna be. So things are gonna be a touch uncertain for a little while.
I wish that I had made enough doing this line of work to have some outside of bills on the side to use towards getting our own place. Unfortunately, that just doesn't happen when you're one of the newer wolves in the in-home-care work field. Actually with any REAL luck, I should pick up another job soon and me, my wife, and my boy will all be under the same roof again. Then shortly after that I could possibly have my own comp again (since he's not giving me this one like he said he was going to), along with some good ol' cable intranet... either way, I will be back so don't be too ready to piss on my grave yet.
Well, I bid you all adieu for now. With any fortune of good grace I won't freeze to death these first few days (temps have been in the mid to high 20's), and I should start being back on once a week starting on Tuesday.
