...umpire during his at bat.... Let's say it was a disputed call during that at bat. The batter hits a ball down the line and the umpire calls it foul but the batter argues that it's fair. On the next pitch the batter hits a home run. As he passes first base he again has words with the umpire. At that moment the umpire throws the batter out of the game. My question is, is the batter (now a base runner) allowed to continue around the bases to complete the home run or is he thrown out of the game at that point and only credited with a single? Does the run count or not? Also consider any base runners that may have been on base at the time. What is their status?

I believe a player cannot be "tossed" during play.

However if an injury occurs to a batter/runner while running the bases after hitting a HR; a substitute runner may finish touching all bases.

During any situation such as that, the offender is fined, often. He would be allowed to complete his circuit and the home plate umpire would throw him out. The run would count, because player misconduct cannot be called out. The last question is answered by the previous ones. The play is allowed to finish.

like the last person sayed is they would be fined, and he be able to complete to home because he hit the homerun before getting ejected. if you take him out, it is like ejecting someone while trying to catch a ball but it didnt count
