We watched the latest version last night, with Ray Winstone in the title role and Helena Bonham-Carter as Anne Boleyn, with an equally impressive stellar supporting cast [David Suchet, Joss Acland, Mark Strong]
Fantastic, superbly written and performed. One of the best films I have seen to date

I've got the DVD's of that, also think it's excellent. Think Ray Winstone makes a Great Henry, in fact everyone plays there part well. :)
 
I loved this when it was on tv.

Have you seen the one on Charles II (I think it's the II, never been to good on my English monarchs!)? Equally good in my opinion.
 
Gunpowder Treason and Plot is another good dvd to look out for, Emila Fox star's in that one as well. Seen Charles the 1st as well there all good. :)
