helpppp unlocking my blackberry storm!!!?

my cousin just got me a blackberry storm from someone he knew.
but it has a secret pattern on it and now i cant unlock it
he tried calling the guy but the guy wont pick up at all
is there anyway i can unlock it right now without buying anything
