HELPPPP!!! how do I undelete images on Nokia N8

HI

I made the biggest mistake everrrr. i was trying to move some pictures to a new album on the Nokia N8 and when the pictures were successfully transfered to the new album i th ought i could erase them from the general album. well instead of testing it out i stupidly erased all 9 pictures ..... is there any way i can recover these pictures? i am desperate as these are very important pictures to me

No you can`t recover them, they are permanently erased.

If they are on a memory card, there are programs you can use to recover them. Don't save anything else on the card as you may overwrite them.

The photos on the N8 are stored to the mass storage drive, which can be mounted as USB Mass Storage and from that point is no longer visible to the phone. You should be able to use PC file recovery tools on it then, if you haven't written much data since you might be lucky.

It's got to be worth trying...
