Help!!!!

95 Ultra Classic with issues. Was riding down the road doing about 50 mph, all of a sudden a loud pop and then I was stuck in gear. Bike never quit running, just couldnt go anywhere. Got the bike back to the garage and started looking, looked all over the trannie, everything looks good, looked all over the primary, everything looks good. Put it all back together and now I can shift thru all of the gears but the gears dont actullay engage. Any ideas? Wasn't shifting or anything when this all started, just crusiing down the road.

Is the belt okay? If it is, remove the primary again and see if anything looks odd when you try to select gear with the engine running.

I guess you'll need to get the rear wheel in the air and try selecting a gear with the engine running. You'll need the primary cover off for this, but you pretty much need to follow the drive train from crank to clutch to belt drive. If you're confident that the gearbox is indeed engaging a gear, the clutch is engaged and you still have no drive, something is seriously amiss. It's possible that your clutch has failed completely or else something has broken between the clutch and the belt drive sprocket. Please keep me updated and I'll try to think of something else.
