help!!!!

I used to own a i730. I recently brought an 870 from a friend. If something happens to my phone would I be able to get it fixed or replaced since I didnt buy the phone from a store

you have to call nextel and tell them you have an i860, they will ask for the S/N to log it into the system. From that point forward you will be fine, you don't have to buy it from a retail location to get it covered.

what 1badss said is correct, BUT tell them its an i870, not i860....

He told me he found the phone. What happens if someone reported the phone as lost or stolen??? Would I still be able to get it insured????

If the phone is reported stolen, lets just say you wont be posting a story update till you get out of jail! i dont know what can really happen.
