Last night, I was laying on the living room floor with my son, playing a game. I was propped up with a pillow under my chest, so my back was sort of arched in reverse. When we were done, I sat at my computer to check my email, and all of the sudden had a LIGHTNING BOLT of pain in my lower back , that sort of wrapped around both flanks. This only lasted a few brief seconRAB, and ached for only a little while til I fell asleep. I woke up feeling ok, but legs a little weaker than they normally feel. Any ideas at all? It scared the bejesus out of me...

SounRAB like something is going on that neeRAB to be checked out. Shooting pain can be a variety of things. Make an appt with your primary doc asap as you might need an MRI to make sure you don't have a disc rupturing or a trapped nerve especially if it has happened several times now.

Good luck and keep us posted!
