Here in the past few months I feel like I can't breathe when I'm going to bed. My head and chest pounRAB fast, and I have troubles sleep at night. I feel if I fall asleep I might not wake up.

See you r dr. It could be anxiety or it could be something else. Have it checked out. Godbless

I can totally relate, you are not alone!

I've suffered insomnia since I was a young child, and over the years it has grown into an overwhelming fear because you can't feel anything when you're asleep, and like you I worry about not waking up.

The only way I can ever sleep now is by waiting till dawn when my family wake up and then sleeping for a couple of hours, knowing the dog will wake me up barking when the postman arrives in the morning, and you don't want to end up like this believe me - I get on average 3-4hours broken sleep a night and it's awful.

I suggest trying all the usual relaxing things, hot bath, warm milk etc etc, if not then try your doctor, they can help!

If nothing works, not even sleeping pills( they do nothing to me) I personally find the only remedy is being happy before you sleep. Do something that makes you feel brilliant, accomplished, or do something seriously tiring... If I'm inanely grinning and distracted or worn out I tend to forget I'm so scared!

Hope this helps, good luck and let us know how you get on with it all!
