hi i am having some numbness issues and wondered if anyone could help.

I am a 39 year old male, i do not have high blood pressure, i'm about 6 foot, and weigh about 180.

my arm tingles. it starts in my hand, and moves up. sometimes it stays in my hand. i went to the doctor a couple of years back and he thought it was a pinched nerve, so he sent me to a specialist. they found nothing. it went away for a while but now is back. i dont get bad chest pains just what feels like gas. this has been happening for 10 years or so. any advice? thanks.

I get numbness in my hands and arms on occasion. I find a good month of massage takes care of it. I usually have knots in my neck...once they are taken care of the numbness goes away. It usually takes three weeks of massage...and I go one more for good measure :-) If you live near a massage school...usually you can get some very cheap massages

Since it's been a couple years back when you went to your doc about this. you should go back again and describe all symptoms. You may need tests so your doc can rule out cause and hopefully find what is causing this.

Is the numbness limited to one hand, or is it both? Is it on one side of the hand versus the other (like, thumb and first three fingers vs. the last two fingers)? Does anything in particular trigger it?
