...military* change location somehow? ok heres the problem, I live in the uk because im in the militairy, my xbox is american, and set to american so i can use the points of the militairy base that they selll, i recently bought 4000 points so i could download the cod waw map pack 3 because it looks quite good. heres the problem because im in the uk i cant download them it says cant download to your current location, i called xbox support and after several attempts got the answer of you cant do anything about it. i feel that having to set up a new account is quite stupid and will cost me a fortune and is basically out of the qeustion,
I got a friend to go to xbox live online and download them for me in the states but on my console here int he uk it downloads but gets to 99 percent and says cannot download maps, it does this for all cod material now. Im pretty sure all that needs to be done is switch my account to uk location instead of US whick i know is tedious, but i mean cmon someone in xbox has to have the power to do that. i really dont feel like haveing to fly back to the states to download the maps i thinkt that is ridiculous. If anyone from xbox has any information that could help me out it would be so greatly appreciated, all i want to do is play and it seems xbox is becoming more hassle then fun.
I think thats basically it but it needs to be fixed you know, is there a way to hack it? or get the attention of someone higher up to fix it for me. i guess being in the militairy doesnt mean anything to the people of xbox , or maybe it does. i honestly cant say. it would be greatly appreciated if someone would help me out.
