Help writing debate statements?

We are having formal debates in government class and we have to create an opening and closing statement.
Any ideas on what kind of things i should put in my opening and closing statement. (General, not specific to my debate, I can add that if i get some general points to answer)
 
opening should include:

A good introduction that attracts the audiences attention and interest in the topic. A good strategy is to foreshadow and summarize the arguments that your team is going to present.

Closing should include:
A recap of all your facts that makes you side the better choice rather then your opposites
