I really want to write a thriller. I already have vague ideas, I just need help on putting more depth into it. The story is centered around a guy and his sister, who are the same age, and are often mistaken for a couple because they are so close. The boy is a sociopath and is inappropriately protective of his sister and gets jealous of her male friends. They are the main characters, however I don't want the plot to revolve only around their relationship. I want something to happen that is more complex than a murder or natural disaster, something that allows the sociopathic brother to play God. Maybe something that is almost similar to "Death Note".
