Help with Windows Photo Gallery Slide Show.?

When I use the Windows Photo Gallery Slide Show, my pictures are offset to the right, clipping some of the photo off and leaving a black area to the left of the photo.

This same problem occurs when I play Fallout 3.

Any ideas as to how I can fix it?
