OK, i bought my laptop not to long ago its been making a whining sound in high performance usually only there but now its in power save its annoying and its not my fan its my hard drive for sure.. hp support inst helping... its a compaq presario CQ60.. the hard drive is a "samsung HM251JI ATA device" 220 gb.. some people might be able to block out the sound but i use it at the level of my desk.. so its kind of annoying.. anyone help?
