I was hoping someone out there could help me with finding sources on Vietnam history and culture during the 18-19 century. I am doing a dissertation about vietnam's cultural change and influences but trying to get any sources to use as evidence has been hard. I am going to Vietnam for a month in July and was wondering if anyone knew the best place to ask for help with this and any work that's been translated into English? I know poetry is 1 good area to help understand this change but finding anything else besides the Vietnam war is proving harder then I realized. I have sent an email to the University in Hanoi but still haven't received a reply and need to hand in a list of sources before the 27th of june 
also my University dosen't seem that helpful either so im stuck on where and who to ask next. Any advice or help would be a huge help thank you
