Just recently neither my compaq laptop with windows 7 ultimate or my lcd hd tv has been working with my vga cable niether even registers that its in, this problem only occourd after i got a virus and had to format my computer by uninstalling and re installing windows, ( i previously had windows 7 home premium and when i reinstalled windows i used windows 7 ultimate), btw im trying to view my laptops contents through my tv.
Thanks for the input people but it aint the screen resolution, any other ideas?
