Help with USB thumbdrive in Vista.

I burned my music from XP to a 2gb SanDisk cruzer thumbdrive.

Vista recognizes it and installs the drivers for it, it even says "USB mass storage device" in the device manager. It comes up in Computer as "Removable Disk (F : ), i click on it and it tells me to "Please insert a disk into Removable Disk (F : )"

tried uninstalling it and it does the same.

Any help?

and i know i can just plug it into a XP computer and burn them from there, but i dont have access to one right now, and I still want this 2gb thumbdrive to work.

weird, I don't have a thumbdrive so I haven't tried this yet. I kinda assumed it would just work like XP. I wonder if anyone else has your problem.

can i completly remove the USB drivers from vista, and when i restart will it install new ones?

if you put it in another usb slot it should install drivers there too, at least it does at in xp

really? i've never seen a usb thumbdrive that needed drivers after XP SP2 came out
