help with twitter please? i set up my phone number but now it says it isnt set up?

and when i go to do it again, it says that that phone number is already in use.
yesterday i had it set up and got a handful of twitters on my phone. but then today i didnt have any so i thought that was weird, went on to twitter, saw a bunch of twitters should have been sent to my phone. then i noticed that where it normally says i have my phone set up it asked if i wanted to set it up... i dont know why or how this happened. but now i dont know what to do because it says my phone is already in use. but its already in use with MY account, it just says it isnt... :S
