Help with the original Sidekick LX!?

So, I JUST got the internet on my Sidekick LX, and I've had it for about 4 years, and I know that I've missed a crap load of updates because of my lack of internet throughout the past four or so years, is there anyway I can get these updates now? Do I call T-Mobile Customer-Care or what? I'm freaking out. x)
