So I will be able to upgrade in August of 2009. I currently have the Wing which I got in 2007. My contract was two years long. I know that after such a time I am able to upgrade my phone. I really want a new smartphone but I heard those require a data plan. I really dont want a data plan, and I don't need one, but I really want the phone. When I bought the Wing they said I don't need the data plan and can "pay as I go" with text messages. Is it possible for me to upgrade and KEEP my previous contract because I heard T-Mobile will let you keep your previous agreement and this will mearly be an upgrade.
