I'm currently in between doctors, however if this is serious enough I may go to Urgent Care as my friend suggested. Anyway,
Thursday, around 7 in the morning, I started getting these really bad stabbing pains in the upper part of my stomach, they would come and go and wouldn't last too long. It turns out that they were cramps instead and ended up being relieved when I went to the bathroom, but came back shortly after. (I've been having watery diarrhea for the past 2 days, gross, I know.)
I thought maybe it was just gas pains or I was backed up so I didn't think much of it until they didn't go away. I felt terrible all over, a general feeling of yuck, went to the bathroom frequently, and continued having the pain. It started to subside around 4am, so I was able to get some sleep. The pain hasn't been back, however now it's nausea, if I lay down it feels like theres fire in my stomach/throat, walking from room to room is a chore and leaves me breathless. Earlier when I took the trash out, I came back and my stomach was on fire, I was panting, having trouble breathing and I was dizzy, which is when my friend offered to take me to urgent care, but it subsided.
I also have a general full feeling and can't bring myself to eat. My mother suggested I drink water and Gatorade as I've been going to the bathroom A LOT (diarrhea the whole time).
I have a few ideas of what this might be, Gallbladder disease runs in the family, but my mother thinks it could be a wonky strain of the flu. I'd like to know if this seems like something serious (i.e gallbladder) or if its just the flu and I really shouldn't worry much.
Thanks for any help!
While I appreciate your answer I'm not "hanging around" on the computer. As I said in my question my mother thought it might just be the flu, which is why I wanted to see what others thought before I actually headed off to the ER or Urgent Care, as I'm not going to go there and waste their time for the flu.
