For my graduating class' senior prank, we decided to have an epic light saber battle in the school. Half the people involved have black hoodies and the other half have white ones. We are already set to use a combination of half way decent toy lightsabers and force fx lightsabers for realism. Our only problem is that we want to freak out the administration by simulating some force effects in realtime. For example, having someone use a prostetic hand that when struck in just the right way falls off and simulates the heat of the lightsaber (a la darth vader in episode 6) thanks to some very low-grade fireworks and smoke. Or some professional springboards that could be triggered to simulate force push. Another we are really hoping to try and do is simulate force lightning by perhaps using some special rubber gloves hooked up to a battery pack that would simulate the lightning passing between the fingers and then have some blue flashing led rope lights in the actual jedi's hoodie to simulate the shock (we pretty much gave up on how to safely produce lightning bolts traveling through mid-air).

So far these are the only ideas we have on how to make this happen, but each time we have run into problems with the actual design of these props. Any ideas on what would be the easiest way to design these things, or what would be the easiest overall way to simulate these effects?
