Help with Sony Erricson Xperia x8?D;?

Okay so yesterday I called my mom with my phone and it worked. it was running out of battery so then i charged it and the next day its not working..Usually when i call it goes like 'beep beep beep'' but then its silent. i tried using my mom's sim card and it's still the same.. help please?D: is my phone broken or is it the card
