Help with something topical for a debate?

Some ideas to write a three minute speech upon, thats topical, relevant and current. Thanks in advance

I would do it on US health care. If I was a university student, I would demand that part of my student union fees goes into a group health insurance plan. This includes presciption drugs and dental. Every person who enters college or university must participate. It would probably be cheap, maybe an extra 20 bucks since college kids are the healthiest. Universities make millions investing student tuition fees in low risk stocks, fixed income and bonds. They can afford to match the student union fees if necessary.

No insurance company in the world would turn down insuring college students and would probably bid to get the business.
