Help with replacing Raleigh Super Course bicycle seat post?

I tried replacing the seat post on my Raleigh Super Course with a longer Promax seat post. The Promax seat post clamp will not fit the single rail on the Brooks saddle properly. Notice that the Promax seat clamp is as far forward and on the narrowest part of the saddle rails as possible. Which type of seat post clamp will fit this Brooks saddle? Here are pictures of the ill fitting Promax seat post and the Raleigh seat post that fits the saddle.

The new style seatpost that wont work is called a "micro adjust".

I forget what the old style is called, but I have a Raleigh with a Brooks outside with one.

Call you local Family bike shop and ask for a seatpost, the correct diameter of course, and with the "OLD style none micro adjust" head. Use the adapters off your old seatpost.
