describe how the graph of g(x)= (3x+2)/(x-4) can be obtained from the graph of y= 1/x. specify the order of the transformations.

any help would be greatly appreciated! thankss:)
i can't use a calculator. i just want to know how to do it. i already have the answer.
it is a transformation. i know the answer is moved right 4, vertical stretch of 14, and up 3, i just dont know how to get that.

Graph 1/x. Then mess around and graph things like 1/(x+1) and 1/(x-5) and then try graphing 2x/x or (2x+4)/(x-5) and see what happens. You'll probably notice patterns and figure it out on your own rather than take the easy way out and just have someone tell you.
