can you help me put this problem into standard form. the standard form of x^2/a^2 - y^2/b^2 = 1
the problem is 9x^2 -16y^2 -18x -32y -151. i get it all fine i just get confused with the factoring out the 9 and 16 after you group the x and y's . and i get confused with the completing the square. i have the answer in the back of my math book i just cant seem to see how they got that answer. thanks.
