Help with Playstation 2?

I shouldn't think it'll be discontinued for a long time. There are still plenty of gamers out there that can't afford the 360 or PS3. Well, they can afford it, but choose not too. Don't forget that the PS2 is one of the most sold gaming consoles... It's unlikely that Sony is going to remove this. The only way I can see that they'd remove this is when they bring out the "PS4" or whatever in years to come - sooner or later the PS3 will become the PS2, the xBox 360 the normal xBox etc.
 
No, not for a while. This is because the Sony sells more PS2's than PS3's or PSP's. Plus, it's the best selling console ever (including hand-held), with over 145 million units shipped at last count. Why on earth would they discontinue it since it is a HUGE source of income? Well I hope this helps
