help with php and flash?

i don't know much abt PHP but i have learned how to embed a flash animation into a PHP file and it works ...my problem is when i embed a flash animation that requires an external text file the flash animation doesnt load although it does load when i insert it into a HTML document. could you give me some advice what im doing wrong here thanks for any help i can get : )
