Help with PHP (10 POINTS!)?

Hello, I would like to know how to make a PHP 'posting' system. A system like Facebook status updates so it shows who posted it and when (connected to my userbase). I would really appreciate your help, and I will be awarding 10 points for the best answer, thanks.
I have tried Wordpress and don't like it. Don't tell me to use it :P Just link me to a website that has what Im looking for.
 
1) Go to Wordpress.org
2) Download Wordpress.
3) Install Wordpress.
4) Don't waste your time reinventing the wheel. PHP content management systems are a dime a dozen. There's no point in writing your own, and nowhere near enough room here on YA to explain how to do it.
