I am trying to figure out which phone would be my best choice.

I have been recommended to look at the Gleem and the LG-VX8700
Wants:
**thin flip phone.
**2 megapixel camera if it has an SD card to record to.
**Blue Tooth
**Voice dialing
I would consider using the VZ navigator but it is not a must have feature.

Do not wants:
No music
*No email
*No videos
*No Text Messaging

I am interested in making calls and reciving calls. Maybe taking a picture of my kids.

any suggestions on what verizion has to offer. We are new customers. We will be using a shared plan for my wife and I.

Hi my wife and I picked up the new motorola w755 and besides the 2.0 camera(it only has 1.3 camera) it is an awsome phone and has all the features you mentioned and the price is awsome. It is small flip, has bluetooth which you can turn on and off with phone closed. Also the voice dialing you can also do with the phone closed. The speaker phone sounds awsome. I was a big lg phone guy but Motorola won me back. It was 69.99 after rebate but now it is 19.99. Check it out.

thanks
I was considering that phone.
I am getting the feeling that there are more phones that I can use for Verizon then I see on their site. Someone recommended the LG-VX8700 phone but I don't see it on Verizon.com

Am I missing it on the Verizon site? Is there a list somewhere of all the choices I have even if the phone doesn't come from Verizon?
the VX8700 was a little high priced but it was thin. I also noticed the Gleam being pretty thin.

Isn't there a thinner motorola razor phone?

thank again for your time and have a good day

I would rather go for a Sony Ericsson since their 2 megapixel phones have awesome picture quality and is not so expensive. Only expensive thing is their memory cards. The following is good examples:

W580i
W810i
W800i
W610i

The LG chocolate KG800 also looks classy but it has a 1.3 megapixel

Or the Samsung D900 is go for cheap cheap these days as well and it has a 3.2 megapixel camera.

The choice is yours! ;)

thanks, I am finding out that there are a lot more phone choices then what I saw on Verizons website or even in their store.
I wish there was a single site that listed all the phones for a given carrier and had a parametric search in that database.

yea im llooking for a new phone also
but i want

txting
bluetooth phone to phone
and all the good features
and also not expensive
