I'm gonna be painting my bike and part of what I want to paint is the plastics (the plastics are currently the same color of the gas tank which I am also painting) When I paint the plastics will I have to use different paints or will it all turn out the same? I know for the tank I need to put down a primer, how about the plastic? and can I just paint over the old color (i'm assuming the plastics are color plastics and were never painted) any tips are appreciated thanks!
Is there a certain type of primer/paint/clear cloat I should use for the plastics? I was thinking about it and the plastics are a bit flexible, do I have to worry about the primer/paint/clear coat cracking? or is there a certain type I should be using for the plastics?
