Help with N70 phone.

Hello, I got this phone and iam having problems.

when I pop in the battery and turn it on, the flash light, back light and keypad light comes on. The phone does not start.

Could this be a software problem?
How would i go about fixing this problem? If anyone came across the same problem.

did u leave it on for a while.. it can take quite a while for the phone to turn on.. maybe 1 minute or even more?

if that dont work try doing a hard reset... i think you hold the green dial key, * key, and 3 key at the same time then press and hold the power button too..
