Help With My Sony Ericsson?

I sent a message to my friend and I remembered that it was her old number. There's a little icon on the top toolbar and it has the symbol showing the message is sending. Usually, it says "Delivery Failed" but it hasn't come up. Now, none of my messages will send because it says message queued. I try to delete the message i sent to her old number, but it wont delete. hat should I do
