This is the sonnet I wrote.
It matches the rhyme scheme, but I am SO confused as to this whole iambic pentameter thing?! :/
Living under my imperfections
No one ever said it would be easy.
Staying clear of your detections
I met you half way but you must've missed me.
Countless laughs and endless smiles
Our friendship always grew.
Memories of you haunt me for miles
Now I can't seem to find you.
So I've learned and grown since
I will take this time for me.
I'm taking half of me and creating the rest
To become who I'm destined to be.
Sure the sun will set at seven
but again I'm sure will rise the light from heaven.
