Help With My Fish In My Aquarium?

okay, i got a crowntail betta fish with me, and i was wondering if it would fight with a female betta
if so would it have to be a crowntail female betta for it to breed?
and further more
would it be a good idea to put the male betta
in my aquarium with 1 small koi fish
and 1 suckerfish? (also known as an algae eater)

cause i heard that bettas were killers
....
so help?
