It's for my latest book, I need to know how British people living in Port Royal in 1695, would speak. 
I realize they spoke English, but I'm not sure if they would speak like in Pirates of the Caribbean, for example, or like replacing the "s" in verbs with "th" ( Doth) or would speak to a person saying "thou" rather than "you".
