Help with MK2 Ford Mondeo clutch problem?

Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone out there can help.

I have a V Reg (1999) manual 1.8 Ford Mondeo.

Over the past few weeks I have noticed that when I am driving on a hill or steep road my engines revs seem to increase and start to loose power.

It seems like its coming from the gearbox, like the clutch is slipping.

Does this mean my clutch is needing replaced?
