Help with Kingdom Hearts for PS2???

I am in Hollow Bastion and I have already defeated Riku for the first time after I get the keyblade back from him. I have also gone through the library and put all the books in the right place and I have put all the peices in the door so that I have access to the lift stop room. How do I get the treasure chests that are floating in the air in there and how do I get to other parts of the lift room besides the level that takes you down to the waterway and dungeon and up to the very top of the lift room where it dead ends?
 
i think you use gravity go get the floating treasure chest its been a while since i played that game so get to the other parts of the lifting room there are more passage ways to get to the waterway is always the confusing lift room can never figure it out but if you take time to explore in hollow bastion you might be able to find different ways to the lifting room that's what i did well i do that with all RPG games
