I have to do an assignment for english literature explaining the culture and historical contexts in the Italian movie "Life is Beautiful". I have seen the movie and have some themes, but I think i have missed alot. Does anyone know any themes in the movie that are stereotypically Italian, preferrably ones that challenges an Italian stereotype. Also, what techniques does the director use to tell the viewer that the movie is set in Italy without explicitly saying?
