Hello! My classmates and I are doing a debate in class: the topic is whether Mussolini should be kept in government in Italy before World War 2. My stance is that I have to defend Mussolini, and keep him in office. The debate, obviously, is slanted towards the prosecution team so I need some help getting ideas to use.
Our main points are that he helped restored the economy, he boosted nationalism, he prevented Communism from influencing Italy, and he stabilized the Italian government. I was wondering if these ideas and main points are good enough to use. We also have some trouble countering that he did use terror and violence, so any ideas regarding that would be helpful. Thanks.
