Help with halo Custom Edition!!?

When i installed my halo custom edition game it works and all with multiplayer but whenever i create my own online map it says invalid cd key can anyone help me because i think that it may have something to do with my product key because i got it off a website that randomly selects halo product keys... i think that i might have used one that someone has active and i have to reinstall halo.... please help
