Help with guitar solo how do I go from major to minor?

I am constructing a guitar solo I started in the major mode over D/C/D/D# in the key of A# and I want to change from the major mode to the minor I am playing over power chords. How can I transfer from major to minor without the solo sounding weird when I transition from the major to minor ?
