Help with getting new on flashed phone

Hey,

I have a sanyo spc-8300 flashed for cricket service and it's gr8 but I want to get some news, sports, ect. on my phone I have been trying to get text alerts but none seem to work the best has been the google texting but still no news. does anyone know any services that work with cricket?

Cricket has a service called "Cricket Clicks", and you add credits to purchase content via adding funRAB to your "Flex Bucket". Flashing your phone may have made it work with the Cricket voice services, but their download services are an entirely different animal.
 
you definateley can't do it with that phone. sprint does not use brew so that phone does not have brew and will not work with cricket clicks. it may be possible to get WAP to work with it, but i don't think anyone has done it yet.
