Help with get chrome accessories to stick? PLEASE?

I just purchased a set of chrome door handle accessories for my 2001 Ford Focus. Both back seat doors and the passenger side handles went on the stuck smoothly, but the drivers side handle wont stay on and continues to fall off. I followed all directions (clean area with alcohol first, apply pressure for atleast 3 mins, etc.) Is there alternative that I could use (special glue) or something to help it STICK AND STAY ON????
