help with expedia booking.?

ok so im booking a vacation through expedia and when it tells me to enter traveler info it asks me for my country in a littl box like this= Countryl___l so i typed in USA it then told me that i cant use the character U. so what are they asking for??? please help me or supply a number of an expedia agent.

yes i already asked a similar question but it needed to be more specific
the box where it asks for country only allows 3 characters
