Help with Ducati Dark Monster 600

Hi All,
Just bought the 600 Dark Monster, it was sitting in a garage for 1 year, the bike did not start, after checking the wiring { Which was screwed up by some nutty mechanic} rectified it now it self's but does not ignite,
If i put fuel directly into the Carb's thru the air fliter in-let, it fires and runs.
Checked the primary Fuel pump out-let, it squirts out fuel, followed the fuel line to the secondary pump, disconnected the out-let and selfed it, even it squirts out fuel.
Now my question, the Fuel line entering the Carb's does it have an Electrical lock or do i have to strip the carb's to check if it is blocked
Pls advise

It runs when you pour fuel through the intake and you're getting fuel from the pump but it's still not running, sounds like the carbs are lacquered up and need cleaned.

Ten-6 is right.
You'll notice each carb has an electrical wire and a fitting on them. These are resistance heaters to prevent carb icing. They have no bearing on starting or how it runs. (unless after a while in icing conditions)

Open them up and de gunk the needles/seats, and the pilot jets. Should run fine then.

Note that if sitting a while the neoprene diaphragms in the fuel pump can become rotted. Not a problem if the tank is over half full though as gravity does it's thing to feed the carbs.
