Help with Dell Media Direct?

Ok, heres my question. Say I put, lets say a High School Musical DVD into my laptop. It automatically opens with Dell Media Direct, and I want to know how I can get a clip from that DVD and save it to my computer. I want to put some music videos on youtube and I can only do it by downloading them off of Limewire, which takes too long. So can someone tell me how to get clips from Dell Media Direct. I will give 10 POINTS to the best answer. Thanks!
